Hills Hornets Touch are seeking confirmation of player interest in this year’s Senior State Cup to be played in Port Macquarie from Friday December 4 to Sunday December 6 2020.
NSW Touch have advised that COVID Safe measures will apply for this tournament. We encourage all interested members to review the following information prior to submitting their form.
A decision to register teams into respective divisions will be determined by Expression of Interest received from eligible members via form submission. Close out date is MONDAY 9 NOVEMBER.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SENIOR STATE CUP PARTICIPANTS
COVID Safe protocols will be enacted in accordance with the current Public Health Order and NSW Touch COVID Safety Plan. This includes but is not limited to:
- Arrive Play Leave Protocols
- 500 person limit within competition ‘zones’
- Strict requirements to remain within allocated ‘zones’ for the duration of competition
- Teams will be limited to 17 maximum – 14 players and 3 team management
What will State Cup look like this year?
- Back to back games (ie: double and triple headers)
- No staying at the fields once games are complete for the day (Arrive / Play / Leave)
- Players cannot return to the fields once their session is complete
- No club tents, ice baths, stretching equipment, or team physios at the grounds
- In-play medical only (no capacity for strapping or massage at the fields)
- No club tent presentation
- Members will need to choose to either Coach, Play OR Referee
- 1 parent spectator only where player is <18years
- No spectators (incl. parents regardless of player age) during timeslots where capacity is likely to reach 500
- Teams will not be accepted if a Referee cannot be sourced by the club
