About Junior State Cup
Junior State Cup is the largest sporting tournament held in NSW each year with over 17,000 attendees and divisions for under 8’s all the way through to the under 18’s. A great opportunity for the aspiring junior player and a chance to be the best team in the state makes this an amazing weekend every year.
Since 2019, Junior State Cup has been divided into a northern and southern conference. Hills Hornets Touch is part of the Southern Conference.
In 2021, the Southern Conference competition will take place in Wagga Wagga from the 26th to the 28th of February.
As with all sporting tournaments, the Covid-19 Pandemic has put a cloud over whether the tournament will go ahead or not. Like most clubs, Hills Hornets are preparing as per normal. We will provide updates as NSW Touch releases details.
The NSW Touch Junior State Cup page can be viewed here:
http://www.nswtouch.com.au/representative/junior-state-cup/
Note – at the time of writing, there was no detail about the 2021 JSC campaign on this page. NSW Touch is currently conducting tournaments including NSW Vawdon Cup and NSW Country Championships under the new Covid conditions. We suspect the JSC page will be updated with 2021 details once NSW Touch has had a chance to review the operations of these tournaments, while also receiving further advice from health authorities.
We appreciate your patience during this time.
