The Hornets Stingers competition is aimed at current or aspiring Hills Hornets representatives players aged 13yrs and older, seeking to qualify for NSW Touch 2024 Vawdon or Senior State Cup representative competitions.
Player registrations will be entered into a draft. The Hills Hornets Committee will allocate players in a manner that equalises talent and ensures competitive games each week.
Hornets Stingers will have a men’s and a women’s division, with an opportunity for a Mixed game for extra fitness each week.
The idea is to provide a fun, social and competitive environment. The benefits for younger players will be the opportunity to play with and against Hornets’ best opens players. The benefits for senior players is the opportunity to hone your leadership and mentoring skills, and have a hand in the next generation of Super Hornets.

Competition Schedule
The Autumn season is scheduled to start in the week beginning 20th of May 2024. There will be 7 rounds with no finals (first past the post)
Where rounds are cancelled due to wet weather, catch up rounds will be played at the end of the normal season, if our field allocation can accommodate.
Teams will be advised as required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who supplies the playing uniform?
Players are encouraged to reuse their reversible spring comp playing singlets or previous representative shirts. Limited singlet stocks are available for purchase via the Hills webshop
When do registrations close?
Player registrations will close on Wednesday May 15 for teams and draft draw to be generated. Registrations after this date will incur a $20 surcharge. Player registrations will not be accepted after Round 3 of competition.
I've never played touch football before, can you cater for beginners?
Unfortunately, due to limited field capacity we are unable to hold a social competition for beginners during Autumn.
Junior players aged 10yrs to 15yrs are welcome to register for our Friday night Vespas clinic for skill development.
A social division will resume for our Spring Park Competition in September.
