Touch Football Australia (TFA) along with the Hills Hornets Touch Association are pleased to announce the Australian Youth Squads that will form the basis of the Youth Teams who will compete in the 2017 Youth Trans Tasman Series in Auckland, New Zealand.

The Australian 17’s and 19’s Boys, Girls and Mixed Teams will travel to Auckland in January with hopes of continuing their recent success in the Youth divisions, having won the past four Youth Trans Tasman events following the concept’s reintroduction in 2009.

The teams will train for the first time together this weekend in Sydney.

Included in the squads are Hornets Junior Club Captain Ray Wehbe, Curtis Wilson and new Hornet Flynn Angles-Corke all cracking the U17s Boys division. Also a special mention to the Hornets V-Squad coach Jackson Mills who will be involved with the U19s Boys team.

Not only are the Hornets players making an impact it is also the coaching team that will contribute to the team with Anthony Dudeck and Dave Nolan all involved to guide the teams against the strong Kiwi outfit.

On behalf of the Hornets we would like to wish all players and coaches the best of luck and do yourself, family and club proud like we know you will.

Go Hills!
