Before you Start the Registration Process
You will be prompted for the following items during the online registration process. Be sure you have them ready before starting.
|1. Get your active kids voucher number. Remember, you can now apply for a 2nd Active Kids voucher per child per year. It will allow you to redeem the entire cost of registration.|

How to Register
To register for the 2019 Spring Competition, please select one of the following options:

Division names have changed since last year. Divisions now align with NSW Touch Junior State Cup division names and age qualification.

The Junior season is scheduled to start in the week beginning 9th of September 2019, with Grand finals to be played in the week beginning 2nd of December 2019.
The week before semi finals is reserved for catchup rounds to cater for washouts. In order to finish the season before mandatory council field maintenance (8th of December) we may also schedule washout rounds on a Sunday if required.

What’s Different this Season?
Player Singlets Included
As part of registration each junior player will now receive a playing singlet. Team coordinators will finally be free from the stress of arranging shirts for their players!
Keeping it Fair Policy
We have adjusted our “keeping it fair” policy. The number of JSC 2019 representative players in any specific team will be limited to a maximum of 3.
You can schedule time with one of our qualified coaches to run a training session with your team. A benefit to players who want to improve their game, and team coordinators who want to up skill their coaching.
Early Bird Rewards
Register your team and a minimum 8 players by Friday 2nd August and the team will receive a genuine Steeden Touch Football.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who supplies the playing uniform?
For the first time, playing singlets are included in the cost of registration. Playing singlets will be reversible, with a predominantly yellow side and a predominantly maroon side.
All players will be required to wear plain black shorts as part of the uniform. This means no club shorts are to be worn.
The draw will indicate which colour should be showing week to week.
When do registrations close?
The scheduled close date for registrations is the 25th August, but please note the following:
- In previous seasons when demand has been high, we have been forced to close off registrations earlier than expected for some divisions.
- Lead times are needed for ordering singlets. Those who don’t register by the early bird cut off (2nd of August) may not receive their playing singlet by round 1.
What time are games played?
Time slots will be finalised once we have final team numbers.

Is it OK to play up an age division?
Yes. Where friends or siblings want to play together, they can play up in an older age division.
It is important to be aware that skill levels can be significantly different between age divisions. Parents will need to use their own judgement on the skills and confidence of the player wanting to play up an age division.
I want to register more than 1 player as an individual, can you ensure they end up in the same team?
Absolutely. Once registered, send an email to email@example.com with their names requesting same team placement.
How many players per team?
All teams must register a minimum of 8 players. This is a new mandatory requirement.
For Under 8’s and Under 10’s, there are 5 players on a field at a time (playing on a half size field). All other divisions are 6 a side.
The number of subs is always a bit of a balancing act. Too many subs can mean players don’t get long enough on the field, too few and players get too tired and lose enjoyment.
Aiming for 3-4 subs per game is usually a good rule of thumb.
I want to register a team, but I'm a few players short. Can you help?
Absolutely. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your team name once registered and the number of additional players you would like. We will allocate players from our individual player registration pool.
Do you have mixed divisions for juniors?
No. But this is something we are considering for the future.
In the mean time you can enter a mixed team into the equivalent age boys division.
This has been done by teams in previous seasons.
I've never played touch football before, can you cater for beginners?
Absolutely. At Hills Hornets Touch we welcome everybody.
Register yourself, and we will find you a team that can accommodate your experience and skill level.
This season we are also going to make available our representative and elite level coaches available to teams to learn more about the game.
