Season 2 Park Comp - 11th August 2010 Steps are already being made regarding the next season of the local park competition. At this stage the 9th of November is pencilled in and we are looking to expand the competition to include Mixed and Mens divisions, run on a Tuesday and Thursday night. Green Up Park is the starting venue and provisions are currently being made to move to the new Wrights Road Reserve Complex in the new year, pending council approval. If you are interested in entering a team then please contact Jaime via the contacts tab on the website. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paperwork and Fees - 6th July 2010 Just a reminder that all paperwork and money is due this Monday or your team will be forfieted. So please make sure this is done because if you get injured then you will not be covered. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated Draw - 17th June 2010 The updated draw is now available. The printable version will be updated later today. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wet Weather - 7th June 2010 If you are not sure if the grounds are open click on the Wet Weather tab above for instructions on how to find out. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First Round Called Off - 7th June 2010 The weather hasn't been to kind to the Hornets as the first round of the new season has been called off due to ground closures. The comp will now kick off next week (14th June) as Round 2. The missed game will be run as double points next round. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Draft Draw now available - 31st May 2010 Please see the Monday tab above for the draft draw for the Winter Season for Hills Hornets Touch Assocation. Unfortunately due to lack of numbers we can only run a Mixed Division this season, but hopefully when the weather warms up we should be able to field a Men's competition. Stay tuned for any updates ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Interested in playing park touch? - 12th May 2010 Contact Jaime now ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEW COMP STARTS JUNE 7 - 3rd May 2010 The new comp starting date has been pushed back to the 7th June so if interested please complete the Nomination form in the Documents tab and forward to Jamie at jtamihere@hillshornetstouch.com. There are limited spots available so first come first served. The local park competition for Hills Hornets Touch has had a major change in direction with a move from Belgravia Leisure at Burnie Mullane Sports Complex to the temporary fields of Green Up Reserve, on Cecil Ave Castle Hill. Affiliated with NSWTA and TFA, the competition will be run by Jaime Tamihere who is a Hills representative player and will be assisted by many of the current rep players. We are striving to make this upcoming Winter Season a success off the field with better procedures for the players and teams. We will be focusing on items such as field set-up, current draws and ladders, refereeing and overall better communication skills between management and players. We hope that this success off the field will refect on better team numbers on it.
