There were two notable absences from the mixed team last Friday when the Hornets
took on the Ghosts at Campbelltown. Not that the team missed them by all reports.
Gav and Dom snuck up the coast to Shoal Bay for a romantic getaway and came back
engaged. The details are sketchy but apparently this is how it unfolded.
Gav was hoping for a stroll on the beach at sunset to pop the question but Dom didn't
want to head out so plan B went into action and he proposed in the hotel room.
Maybe she still felt guilty for kicking him in the head and putting him in hospital
but she said yes and rest is history.
I guess it was a valid excuse for missing touch after all.
