Hills salary cap and playing roster is near completion with the news that 'The Doc' aka Bruce
Agar is close to terms with the Hornets. After a year in the wilderness Doc is almost a
certain starter for the maroon and golds as they revamp not only their uniforms but their
identity as a Vawdon Cup force.
Doc not only fills a position in the starting lineup but he brings a wealth of coaching
experience onboard and communication skills that will aid every player in the Hornets ranks
with fresh ideas and a professional approach to the game.
As a player he is a seasoned NTL player who recently competed with the Barbarians 45s team
at Coffs Harbour and is the assistant coach for the NSW Mens 30s outfit.
Doc was contacted eariler in the week and said that he is a 99% chance of joining the Hornets
campaign for 2008 and will let team officals know for sure in the next week or two.
The Hornets have their fingers crossed.
