Congratulations to all the Hills Hornets teams and players that made the journey to Port Macquarie for the first weekend in December.

Without doubt it was the most successful campaign that the Hills Hornets have put together in history, both in numbers and performances.

The support shown by all players towards other Hills teams was an absolute standout with a club culture certainly forming that will lay a path for future players to follow.

With the Hills Hornets boasting the 6th largest affiliate at State Cup 2010 and with a record 4 teams making finals day and 2 more pushing on to a semi final contest the future looks bright for the club.

A special thanks to all the referees that represented the Hills Hornets. It is a thankless job and without them we wouldn't be able to compete. With a record 6 teams means that we have a record 6 referees flying the Hills flag.

Once again the presentation night was fabulous with all teams and supporters having a great time and mixing together like a big family. This shows the spirit inherited from a once small club evolving into a dominant affiliate that will be a force over the next 5 years.

On a personal note I would like to thank everyone for their time and generosity, especially the committee and all team organisers. It is a weekend like this that makes it all worthwhile and hungry to make next year bigger, better and bolder.

Have a happy and safe Christmas and new year from all the Hills Hornets Committee.
