Hills Hornets Mixed conducted its first trial session for Vawdon Cup 2008 at
Burnie Mullane Sports Complex last night.
"The first trial for mixed was extremely positive for the year ahead. Although
player numbers were down slightly the quality was outstanding and hopefully we
will get more numbers to our second trial."
When asked about the selection process Simon stated that "No final selections
have been made at this stage so no names can be released until the conclusion
of our next trial on Monday, but be sure to keep an eye out for this years
Hornets Mixed team!".
With the Mixed competition always producing a hotly contested division at Vawdon
Cup the Hornets will be training hard to produce some good results throughout the
season.
The final team will be announced on this website at the conclusion of the next
trial session which will be held on Monday 12th May 6.45pm at Burnie Mullane Sports
