Congratulations to the Hornets Mick Sproule who has been selected in the NSW Mens 45's
State Team to play Queensland in the State of Origin Series on August 23-23rd.
Trials were held over the weekend at The Kingsway Penrith where the best players from
all over the state competed for a starting position in the hotly contested Blues team.
The day consisted of a mixture of fitness tests, drills and games against the squad or
other divisions.
Brad Mitchell also trialed for the Mens 30's team but was unsuccessful.
Well Done again to Sprouley who has been flying the Hills flag solo for many years.
I'm sure there will be a number of Hornets cheering him on come August.
